Our early days were spent shooting commercials and industrial videos. Our company grew to four full time staff members and a business manager. By coincidence, three of us had been former teachers. Because of this, the news of the spreading AIDS epidemic caught our eye. Back in 1986, this wasn't headline news. Usually relegated to the back page, reports mentioned that the deadly disease was spread through unprotected sex, often by partners who were unaware they were infected.
